Your Wedding Flowers
Is there anything better than a beautiful wedding?
We certainly don't think so! Especially when it comes to gorgeous blooms for the wedding party to carry or wear, and all the dècor and embellishments that can transform even the plainest of venues into a wondrous experience of colour, scent and splendour.
Our expertise with a variety of styles, from the sleek and sophisticated to classically glamorous, lush and romantic to fanciful and wild, ensures your wedding vision can be accomplished with the utmost attention to detail.
Your wedding is a once in a lifetime day, and as such it deserves our dedication in making it everything you could hope for in flowers. If your budget is substantial we can create a floral fantasy come to life. For smaller budgets, there are many ways we can accommodate to achieve the look and feel of your desired dream, but on a less expensive scheme.
ELOPEMENTS & MICRO-WEDDINGS
Planning a small and intimate affair for your wedding day celebration doesn't mean you have to forgo any of the beauty! Creating a one-of-a-kind bouquet or boutonnière is a specialty of ours, so you have gorgeous flowers in your elopement photos and memories. Expanding to include florals for a micro-wedding means you can often create more custom and extravagant arrangements than you could if you were budgeting for a larger wedding.

What flowers do you typically need for a wedding?
Wedding flowers usually fall into 4 main categories:
l Personals - the flowers you carry or wear
l Ceremony - décor for the space where the ceremony takes place
l Reception - where the dinner and dancing happens
l Atmosphere - florals to create impact or carry through the motif
PERSONALS
These include bouquets and boutonnieres for the wedding party, corsages and boutonnieres for special family members or your officiant, floral crowns for flower girls (or grandmas!), floral collars for the ring dogs, and other special pieces that will be worn.
CEREMONY FLORALS
Decorating the ceremony area ensures the photos of your wedding ceremony are truly a delight for years to come. Floral arches or large arrangements on pedestals can create a picture-perfect vignette, frame a spectacular view, or hide something in the background. Either way, they add to the visual of the two of you as you join your lives together.
Other elements to think about for your ceremony include arrangements to mark the aisle, accents for pews or the chairs on the aisle, petal aisle borders, large arrangements to mark the entrance to the aisle, petals for scattering, accent florals for a drink station, signage décor, and an arrangement on your guestbook table.
RECEPTION FLORALS
COCKTAIL HOUR
Before everyone sits down for dinner, couples usually host a cocktail hour to entertain guests while they are off taking photos, and here is where you can add small arrangements to the cocktail tables, decorate the bar, adorn the trays for passed appetisers, and décor for the seating card table or sign.
RECEPTION DINNER
Inside the reception space you'll want to place centrepieces on each guest table, either tall or low enough not to interfere with conversation across the table, and appropriate to the height of the ceiling of the room. Low centrepieces in a very tall room looks paltry, and tall centrepieces in a room with a low ceiling looks overcrowded. For most spaces, a mix of tall and low centrepieces creates luxurious look, offering visual interest around the room.
For your sweetheart table, consider a floral runner to showcase the bridal bouquet, or a floral backdrop wall to create a picture perfect spot for the happy couple. For a head table, the bridesmaids' bouquets can be placed down a garland of flowers and greenery, or an overhead installation along the length of the table is a dramatic focal point.
Additional points to decorate with flowers include the cake, the bar, the buffet or serving stations, around the base of the DJ booth or stage for the band (these are often repurposed arrangements from the ceremony), or a thoughtful touch can include a small floral piece tucked at each place setting with the menu card or napkin.
ATMOSPHERE FLORALS
These are florals that go the extra mile to create an unforgettable ambience for your guests. You might consider accenting an architectural feature such as a staircase or creating a floral ceiling above the dance floor, a floral chandelier or decorating existing chandeliers, adding flowers to the happy couple's chairs, or floral arrangements in the restrooms - a touch that invokes a sense of luxury no matter what your budget may be!
